TabTrade — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
The Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
